Medical Laser Application publishes interdisciplinary original contributions from all fields of technical and scientific research and clinical applications of lasers in medicine for diagnostics and therapy.

Being the official journal of the German Society for Laser Medicine, it represents the forum of the largest group of medical laser researchers and users in Europe.

In each issue various authors report on a specific actual topic and provide an overview of the related R&D progress. In addition, the journal offers a forum for short communications and disputes on topics of interest to the laser community. Meeting reports, agendas of seminars and news from European laser centers and international companies, news from the societies and a continuing overview of the related book market are published.
